in terms of politics elon’s always been kind of a chameleon when George W Bush was president Elon didn’t have much to say about climate change when Barack Obama was President Elon became a green capitalist he wanted to blanket America with solar panels his take on Trump running matched most Democrats and moderate Republicans you know hopefully Trump doesn’t forget the nomination of you know the Republican party that’s cuz I think that’s um that wouldn’t be good after 2016 musk more or less got on board with Trump meetings with Steve man in was on advisory councils to the president but then Co came he was incredibly angry that Tesla’s Factory in California was shut down because of Co restrictions on an earnings call Elon called stay-at-home orders in Alam County where Tesla’s factories were based fascist and then you started seeing more tweets that were kind of questioning the efficacy of vaccines and just a little bit more Co denialism by this point it was just a hop skip and a jump to much fringer conspiracy theories
