a woman climbed into a giant redwood tree to protect it from being cut down at first people thought she’d come down after a few days but weeks turned into months and she refused to leave she lived on two small platforms and used ropes to hoist up supplies through extreme weather and even threats from the Logging company she stayed in the tree finally after 738 days the Logging Company agreed to protect the tree and nearby forest and she climbed down
