this is the line upside Howard University kamla’s Alma ma for her official watch party as the polls continue to close across the US I feel like this is a wonderful experience I feel so happy to be a part of History I’ve been thinking about this moment all day like I can’t wait to show my kids I was here on this day when KLA Harris will become the next Madam president this is like history we witnessing history at Howard University student a fellow bison running I have a daughter in terms of what she means in ter for policy um in this country and I mean just at a more basic level just being a role model and um an inspiration for our children it would be incredible to have a black woman in a p position of authority because we don’t often see that and it’s also a great presentation for us as Howard students that we can be anything that we want to be
