oh it’s 7:30 and the bats are ready to go out we have to get out now I was an assignment to document bat’s behavior during the total solar eclipse but the bats didn’t react at all however the night before the eclipse we managed to capture the sunning emergence of millions of bats since it’s R raining the drop on my body is probably from some other sources yes what really surprised me is how accurate is their flight they synchronized in a phenomenon known as bat NATO because they make this huge swirl above the cave and then move towards One Direction what I’m going to do is to trigger several manual shots during the exposure okay during this time there are multiple flashes in order to illuminate the bats emerging out the exposure is 30 seconds and I added a fish sh in order to have almost 140Β° wide field of fuel to include both the cave entry and a huge amount of bats in one shot but the main challenge was the light on the bats how to illuminate them to have a perfect appearance of these bats but how to limit the disturbance we are creating because they’re very sensitive to light this image we managed to capture this a stunning emergence of millions of bats and you don’t expect such an active environment in the middle of the night
