a World War II veteran staff sergeant lson went through six battles including storming Omaha Beach on D-Day and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge today marks this 101-year-old Veteran’s first time visiting the Disneyland Resort please join us as we salute this Brave and inspiring veteran a heartfelt thank you to staff sergeant Jake lson don’t have to be a child to enjoy this you can be any age even my age you have now been named as an honorary citizen of the Disneyland Park what what an honor thank you guys Papa Jake is a 101y year old veteran who served in World War II in the European theater he has exemplified service and commitment and dedication and patriotism and he is quite honestly extraordinarily inspirational he keeps telling us how much fun he’s having he met Mickey Mouse he’s gone on Small World and he’s being treated like the celebrity that he is by our cast and guest thank you for coming down he’s stealing the show from me he’s the best it is Magic it is Magic it couldn’t have been any better it it just couldn’t be any [Music] better it’s an honor to meet you and we made to your own Jersey wow wow yeah oh yeah there you [Music] go I am Papa Jake staff sergeant Papa Jake Larson you sir are a true American Hero [Applause]
