hello post office um is there an older gentleman out that lives here he fell down the road there um he face pled actually I was just on my my regular route I came across guy saw him in my rearview mirror I saw that it was you know starting to lose his balance a little bit he eventually did fall and he took his tumble I just immediately um threw on my lights and I I did a u-turn and I got to them as quick as I can kind of making sure he was okay there was a lot of blood everywhere got some neighbors they went to their car got you know napkins and just whatever we can to get the blood kind of to clean it up some and remember coming down the sidewalk towards my house from walking the dog had this treat bag in my hand and it fell out of my hand and I bent over to pick it up and at the same time the dog lunged forward because he saw a squirrel or something and I lost my balance and I didn’t have time to put my hands out and I kind of cocked my head on the grass and that and I was trying to get up and jaylen’s telling me now just stay out you know might be hurt while we’re doing that I’m asking him what’s your name you know where do he live he let me know gave me his address and I get shot right down to his home and hello post office um is there an older gentleman out that lives here yes he fell down the road there Jaylen very professionally very politely said you know is there a elderly gentleman that lives here I said yes and he let me know that he had fallen and so so I so appreciated him number one coming to the door to get me number two waiting for me to come down to where he was at and helped us waited helped us get him into the car and made sure he was okay and and my daughter’s a nurse she got here and took a look at it checked him for a a concussion and said you know I think we’re okay here so daughter reached out on Facebook so we could somehow thank him and we got his name Sunday morning right away and got to meet him Sunday at his apartment and um we connected we just connected all of us and I said your family what do you doing for Thanksgiving right away her my daughter’s family and he and his family uh from what I understand talk daily they’ve gotten very close so he’s coming to Thanksgiving with his wife and little baby so we’re looking forward to it new family 100% 100% we wanted to reach out and just give them a hug and say thank you than could have gone so much worse it’s a kind of a bad thing that that’s this is how I got to North Dal but in a good sense it’s a good thing G another friend I’m sure that’ll be a day that we can all just sit our phones down and just reflect and love on each other and you know that’s that’s what the holidays are all about so we’ll definitely kick it off to a great start
