we have just arrived to myot we are here in the capital where residents say that they have been hit by the worst cyclone in nearly a century driving through the streets even for just a few minutes it is visible everywhere you can see debris Fallen trees houses that have been destroyed people are crowding around water points for the little water that is available they’re crowded around electrical outlets to charge their phones because there is little electricity and it is visible the damage is everywhere rescue workers are trying to find people but they say that it’s still hard they really don’t know the extent of the damage some of the hardest hit areas they’re not able to get to and people say they are still searching for their loved ones some are keeping alive hope that once connectivity comes back they’ll be able to find people but right now it’s still really unclear the extent of the damage caused by the cyclone
