she came into this prepared man she came into this prepared you know I had heard her on the audio book of Matthew Cherry’s hair love who’s a friend of mine he won best animated short for for that film and in the audio book Blue Ivy sort of read the book she was the main character and this whole movie starts with just voices we’re doing almost like a radio play and hearing that quality in her voice I thought oh I think that’s my character you know and then she auditioned and it was clear that is my character and in the movie Kiara is kind of like all the children in the audience they get to see themselves in that character and she’s learning the story about Mufasa while the audience is watching the story about Mufasa and she’s learning how you know he went through the same trials and tribulations the same growth that she is and something about look I don’t know Blue Ivy’s life but I imagine she grows up you know a little bit different than everyone else and so I think because of that she’s grown up and so she had all these Wells of just like understanding experience emotional knowledge that she brought to the character like she was awesome
