want to let people know that to not to not be not be down if you have autism Jensen Brooksby was once ranked as high as number 33 in men’s tennis today he’s unranked after being sidelined by injuries and a ban connected to miss drug tests that was eventually reduced as Brooksby prepares to compete again in January he wants people to hear about his experience living with autism spectrum disorder which he discussed publicly for the first time in a recent AP interview I just want people to know me for who I am fully and that’s that’s just another that’s Just Another Part Of Me Brooksby presented a very severe case as a child and is now on the very mild end of the spectrum according to a behavior analyst Brooks believes autism is a big strength for him on court I’m able to really lock in on a few specific details out there on court whether it’s a strategy of how to try to win the match or something in my game but he struggles with outbursts if he’s upset which is something he’s working on I just wanted to use my example in my scenario of life to hopefully help a lot of others in that situation
