three musty films at this year’s Festival I’m going to give you night which is Amy Adams in a role like you have never seen her and anybody who has uh become a mother or is contemplating it or has a mother I think you’re going to want to see this movie I’ll say also the piano lesson which is the next film by uh producer Denzel Washington and this time he’s gotten his son Malcolm to direct he’s done three adaptations of the plays of August Wilson it’s fantastic story with Denzel’s other son John David Washington as a star really beautiful story and then another one that you might not have heard of from South Africa and this is by embeth David who is an actor we know she was in Schindler’s List and many other things she’s directing here a story based on her own experience in southern Africa but also a memoir um about um about growing up in Rhodesia as it was called at the time as it’s turning into Zimbabwe it’s called don’t let go to the dogs tonight that’s kind of a Hidden Gem at the festival
