[Music] it’s really hard to explain all of those feelings it was A Rush of sheer excitement and joy you know we were so beyond excited when at the beginning of last season season 32 we were approached by the Dancing with the Stars production to choreograph this piece they had told us that they really wanted to do a tribute for Len and we were just beyond excited that they would trust us with this special moment we knew what this meant for the show what it meant for each of us as dancers um and having those relationships with Len but also how do you honor one person so meaningful in a two-minute dance so I think we just really stuck to what he would like which was true your beautiful ballroom and um I think that’s why the Walts captured that so perfectly all good things have to come to an end we really wanted to capture some emotion um but also to have him with us in the ballroom one last time it was really exciting to have some of the OG Pros back on the floor we all come from different walks of life and also different eras from the show just I wanted to be so present because this is something that we have really worked for for a long time but then also it was this immediate relief that what we did was validated and was appreciated by many others which again that’s not why I create art but to then have this beautiful gift given to us it just it was so beautiful I’m I’m so grateful
