there’s Ricky peol we’re going to hear from Laura in just a moment but he’s on the reserve non-football injury list shot in the chest during an attempted robbery in San Francisco on the 31st of August their 31st overall pick miraculously it was an entry exit wound it didn’t hit any vital organs he needed no surgery I spoke to Ricky piara pregame and with the biggest grin on his face he said I feel like I could get out there and suit up right now and I wish that I could he’s dealing with a lot less pain now and his wounds are healing perfectly he said he said it’s been great for his perspective he now appreciates life so much more than he ever did but what’s been so amazing about this he told me is the Outreach he’s received from so many he said I never would have imagined the love that I would feel he’s tried to get back to as many people as possible but certainly the most love coming from his own 49ers team
