cyber cab no steering wheel no pedals front-facing seats butterfly wing doors those things we expected what we didn’t expect that you can buy one potentially that this will be put up for sale by Tesla with a price point below $30,000 by his own admission Elon Musk is not often right with his prediction for timeline and for price but he said cyber cab could go into production 2026 then there’s the business model this idea that in the future Tesla operates a proprietary ride hailing app for robo taxi you have fber cab that Tesla own and operates and then some that you own and operate and then existing Tesla vehicles consumer cars submitted to the fleet but a lot of investors I spoke to kind of wanted to hear more about that another big surprise was Robo van we thought there might be another vehicle unveil but not that form factor they have one single prototype and then some pricing around Optimus the humanoid robot the the potential that it could be 20 to $30,000 imagining having your own sort of R2D2 in your own home they did discussed the economics kind of cost per mile of the robo taxi but we didn’t talk that much about the proprietary ride hailing app and that’s where people wanted some of the specifics
