I was brought up a Catholic my mother was a committed Catholic I rebelled against the Catholic church when I was 13 but I’ve always had a curiosity um about faith and indeed in researching it and talking to various priests and people of Faith some of them are preoccupied with profound questions I also think that people it’s it’s often human nature to resist change I think a sense of ritual and tradition and repetition and what your mother did and your grandmother did and I think people feel it’s human to feel security within within certain structures and rituals and when those things should be challenged and changed it’s hard for people because those things have provided with them a sort of Support over lifetime
