BEST AI Dubbing | ElevenLabs

video
play-rounded-fill

Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today, we’re going to learn how you can translate or dub a video into any language. Of course, right now I’m speaking English, but… I can also speak Hindi. I can speak Spanish. I can also speak French. Those are just a few examples of the different languages that I can speak in. Now, you might be wondering, "Did I learn how to speak in those different languages?" No, of course not. I used the magic of AI. Let’s check out how you can do this too. Head to the following website. You could click on the card in the top right-hand corner, or you could also click on the link down below in the description. On this website, up at the very top, let’s click on the pricing tab. And right here, the great news is you can use this entirely for free. They have a free plan and it’s free forever. With this, you can automatically dub your content from 57 languages into 29 other languages. And you can do this for a total of about five minutes worth of content. Of course, if you need more time, they have a number of different plans that will give you more time. Right here, we have the starter plan and this begins at $1 per month, and here you also get a commercial license included. So, you can look through and see which plan best meets your needs. But for this video, I’m going to stick with the free plan, so I’ll click on this button right here. Once you finish signing in, you’ll land on the speech synthesis page. And as a quick aside, ElevenLabs does so much more than just translating or dubbing content. Here as an example, you can type in text and then have various voices speak that text and they sound so human-like. It’s actually very impressive. Right up above, you can also take your voice or your speech, and then you can change your voice into one of these other voices and you have lots of different options. When you have some time, it’s well worth checking out some of the other capabilities. But we want to translate and dub a video, so up on top, let’s click on the option that says dubbing. On this page, let’s click on the button that says create new dub, and this opens up a dialogue where we can fill in all of the details for this dub. Up on top, I’ll type in a title. Over here, you can select the source language and by default, it will try to detect, but you could also specify it if you’d like. Over here, you can select the target language and you have so many different options here. Now, unfortunately right now you can only select one at a time, but you could always create another dub with another language. For this video, I would like to translate it or dub it into Hindi. So, I’ll select this. Down below, you can select a source. You can upload a file directly from your PC, or you could also select one of these social platforms and upload the video from there. I’ll click right here and there’s my video. I’ll select this. This has now added my video right down below. Right at the very bottom, I also have some advanced settings. When I expand this, here I can identify the number of speakers, and here too, by default, it will automatically detect, but you can also specify if you’d like. Here, you can also specify the video resolution. And if you have a longer video where you only want to dub, let’s say a portion of the video, you can also put down the time range for dubbing. Now all of this is all set, so I’ll click on the create button. And look at that! Here’s my video dubbed over into Hindi. The really cool thing is it makes your content more accessible to people throughout the world. Not everyone can speak your native language. Over on the right-hand side, we have a few different actions. You can download an MP4 file in the resolution that you specified on the previous screen, or over here, we can also view or preview the content before downloading and here’s my video. Let’s have a quick listen. 5 Windows Tricks that you probably didn’t know. Number 1. Press Windows + Shift + R. You can record your screen with audio. Number 2. That is pretty cool. That is someone speaking in Hindi and it sounds very much like me. Of course, this is AI and it’s not always accurate. In fact, it could make some mistakes. So especially if you’re making a video for a mission critical purpose, it makes sense to have other people review it just to make sure that everything is accurate. And on that note, if you can speak Hindi, let me know what you thought of the output down below in the comments. I’d love to hear how good you thought it was. If you’re satisfied with the overall production and the dubbing, right here, you could click on this download button and that’ll now download an MP4 of the video along with the dubbed audio. All right. And look at that. You have now mastered over 29 different languages. You should go back to your high school language teacher and let her know how good you’ve gotten. Uh, actually don’t do that. If she asks you to show her, it might just be a little bit embarrassing.
