like number one you want to make sure you actually want to be in this industry like you know it’s a hard industry there’s a lot of ups and downs and if the only reason you’re going into it is cuz you think you’re going to make a lot of money that’s not a great reason you got to really have a passion for investing for trading and you want to do it in your spare time even if you weren’t getting paid for so that’s kind of number one and then once you have a you decide that that’s what you want to do and you have a foot in the door uh there’s a great podcast recently from uh Jerry Seinfeld randomly where his best advice was just work and I think that’s right so like once you’re at a in the right industry and a decent firm you know just work work your way up learn from others and you’ll get the necessary experience
