Electroreceptors in their heads help #hammerheadsharks sense electricity⚡ #shorts 💓

video
play-rounded-fill

back have a head Hammerheads have got an
extra sense a real life superpower
because they can sense electricity all
sharks can do this but Hammerheads seem
particularly sensitive because just like
their other senses that wide head
spreads out the electroreceptors
whenever we move a muscle we tense an
arm or a heartbeat it gives off an
electric field that they can detect and
that’s really good for them for
detecting prey in the dark but it’s
tough for us because getting close to
them is going to be a real challenge
