FBI director Christopher Ry will resign at the end of President Biden’s term in his announcement today Ry citing the need to avoid dragging the bureau into Political turmoil as the reason behind his resignation President elect Trump posting shortly after on Truth social saying in part quote the resignation of Christopher Ray is a great day for America as it will end the weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice unquote he goes on to say I look forward to cash Patel’s confirmation so that the process of making the FBI great again can begin the writing was on the wall cash Patel has already been nominated and Christopher Ray had three years left it was a long term he had those three years left so I think he made the decision where do I have to go from here it’s going to be a mess if I stay in this position but Joe we discussed this earlier the real irony of this is this is someone that was chosen by President Trump after James Comey he actually put Christopher Ray in the position but obviously Christopher Ray knowing I’ve got nowhere to go from here and this is not going to end well
