Britney grer was Head Over Heels happy hearing that Americans were coming home she couldn’t contain her excitement calling it a great day and a great win for America she knows firsthand what it’s like to be part of a prisoner swap having spent 10 months in a Russian jail for drug possession and drug smuggling charges she’s supposed to spend nine years there but the American made an exchange with Russia to bring her home early in December of 2022 it’s not easy she’s still going through some readjustments herself her first trip overseas is here to the Olympics she took a train down from London to Leo and she said to us that she was a little bit anxious on that train ride she hadn’t been on a train since she was going from the Russian jail to the Russian prison but she knows an adjustment period and she’s been working hard herself to try to bring Americans home since she was released she talked to President Biden twice and made sure that those prisoners were still on the Forefront of his mind which they always were to help bring them home it’s just a great day for grer to hear that Americans were coming back and something now as part of Olympic she can focus on just trying to bring the us another basketball victory
