How to Block YouTube Ads — For Real For Real (LEGAL)

video
play-rounded-fill

Kevin’s going to kill me for sharing this hack, but if I can help you watch more of our videos in less time, it’s worth the risk. Let’s dive in. So, you’re browsing YouTube, clicking around, and bam! You’re hit with an ad. Here’s a simple trick. Go up to the address bar and select the video URL. Then copy it and open a new tab. Type in bing.com and hit enter. Then paste the YouTube URL inside the search box and press enter. You should see the video you’re looking for pretty high in the search results list, but instead of clicking on the link, click on the video thumbnail. You’re now brought to an experience that is completely free of YouTube ads. Even if you scroll down to another video and click on it, you still won’t see ads. Now that browsing experience is a bit inconvenient, so let me show you how to search for YouTube videos directly on Bing. Let’s say you’re searching for dinner recipes for a great date night. You’ll type in date night dinner recipes just like before, and then type site colon YouTube.com to restrict your search to YouTube search results only. Then click on any video and you’ll get it ad-free. If this tip helped you… Hey, hey, David, what are you doing? Oh, dude. Hey, Kevin. Don’t worry, man. This is cool. Hey, don’t forget to like and subscribe. We’ll see you next time.
