play-rounded-fill

If you write frequently for business, school, or just in your personal life, I want to introduce you to a tool that can save you hours of valuable time — Grammarly. While Grammarly is often seen merely as a spelling and grammar checker, its capabilities extend far beyond that. I use Grammarly as a personal AI writing partner that helps me refine my writing and provide suggestions and prompts to enhance my efficiency. And like a dependable assistant, Grammarly seamlessly integrates into all my writing activities without compromising my privacy. In this tutorial, in partnership with Grammarly, I’ll show you how to get started with this powerful tool and how I incorporate it into my daily routines, from writing emails and social media posts to crafting professional documents and more. Let’s get started. You’ll need to create a free account and install Grammarly on your computer or mobile device. You can click onThanks for reaching out. I don’t currently have a need for this.Cheers,Kevin a link here or below in the video description. Once you’ve done that, you can access Grammarly at any time by clicking the icon in your browser toolbar. You can also download Grammarly on your iPhone or Android devices. To check your writing with Grammarly, you can either upload a document or copy and paste your text into the Grammarly editor. One of the great things that sets Grammarly apart from other writing tools is its ability to provide personalized feedback and suggestions based on your writing style and goals, whether you’re writing for school, work, or personal reasons. When you start editing, you’ll be asked to set your goals for the document. In my case, I am writing an article on food in Napa Valley, California. I want a more creative writing style that’s informative and serves a general audience. Grammarly will then analyze my writing and provide a list of suggested corrections and improvements. Grammarly’s suggestions are based on various criteria, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style. You can choose to implement all of the suggestions, some of them, or simply dismiss them. It’s entirely up to you. I can also use Grammarly’s generative AI feature to ask Grammarly for specific help. In this post for my travel blog, I want to make it sound more fun and whimsical. So, let’s ask Grammarly to deliver. Make it sound more fun and whimsical. You can use some of their suggestions, ask for more assistance, or put Grammarly back to work and have it create something brand new. There is an Acknowledge Gen AI use feature to ensure students are using AI responsibly. Grammarly also offers a plagiarism checker to ensure your work is original and properly cited, making it an essential tool for students and professionals alike. You can even insert proper citation on the spot. I like seeing the overall score of my writing, which also has a lot of useful data points about my document. If you want to have Grammarly review your document as you write in Word or Google Docs, your personal assistant is there too. As you type, Grammarly underlines potential errors in different colors and offers real time suggestions. Hover over the underlying text to see the suggested correction and click to apply. This is so much more efficient than copying and pasting from other assistants. You can also click on your Grammarly assistant at any time to see their review suggestions or summon the generative AI feature for more help. I write a lot of social media posts. One of the accounts I manage is for my daughter’s school. It can be challenging to quickly come up with a captivating post, especially when constantly writing them. I’ve recently started using Grammarly to help me write these posts. And not only has it saved me time, but it has also significantly improved the amount of engagement. Here, I’m asking Grammarly to create a social media ad for an event called Summerfest. I just let Grammarly know what I need, and they’ve created a great advertisement for me, including hashtags and fun emojis. And then I can just click Insert, and I’m done. You can do an unlimited number of these. In fact, if I want Grammarly to create more than one at a time, I can do that too. Let’s have Grammarly create three social media ads for me. I now have three posts, all slightly different, and I can easily create my social media calendar. You can ask Grammarly to do other things with your writing too, just as you word in Word, Google Docs, or in the editor itself. Another one of my endless tasks is writing emails. Grammarly is a game changer, especially when you can’t think of how to get started, or when you want to sound more professional, but the words are just not there. Grammarly integrates seamlessly with my Outlook email. Here, I have an email to respond to, and I want to send a professional thank you note, but I don’t want to spend a lot of time overthinking it. I can ask Grammarly to write a thank you email, and look how fast I get a suggestion. And if I’m happy with it, I simply click Insert. I can also ask Grammarly for prompts to help me get started on other topics, like politely asking for a progress report, or even a favor. This is one of my favorite ways to use Grammarly, and it saves me so much time. I use this feature on my mobile phone too, and you can use the Grammarly editing tools when writing your emails too, with the same functionality as if you were writing in Word, Google Docs, or the Grammarly dashboard. One of Grammarly’s newest features is app actions. I spend a lot of time toggling between multiple screens throughout my day, and this feature can make you much more efficient. You can access this with the free version, but you only get access to Giphy and Unsplash. When you upgrade to the premium version though, that’s when you can access a variety of integrations, like HubSpot, Smartsheet, Asana, and Google Drive. The ones I use most often are Microsoft 365 and Calendly. With Microsoft 365, I can use my Grammarly assistant to locate a file on my OneDrive or SharePoint and insert the link directly into my email. I use Calendly to schedule meetings, and sometimes it’s a tedious process to go to the website, locate the links for various meetings, and then come back into my email to copy and paste. Now that I have Grammarly connected to my Calendly account, with only a few clicks, I can add the direct link to my calendar availability. I cannot begin to tell you what a game-changer this has been. With Grammarly’s free account, you can use all the generative AI features and access essential writing assistance. It’s great for casual writing, social media posts, and emails. When you upgrade to a premium account, you get unlimited edits and access to all Grammarly features, like app actions and plagiarism detection. The premium account is ideal for anyone really — professional writing, academic work, business communications, and anyone who does writing every day, which is honestly all of us. Grammarly’s free plans are already pretty great on its own. Free AI features and inline suggestions as you write. By signing up for Grammarly using the exclusive link provided in the video description, you’ll receive a 20% discount on a premium plan. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your writing to the next level. You’ll be amazed at how effortlessly you can save time and reduce the frustration of crafting the perfect sentence. And who knows? You might discover a newfound love for writing. See you next time, and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel for more helpful content.
