is it backhanded when people are like oh you’re actually so pretty like is it like oh you’re actually so pretty well that still doesn’t sound right I would not say that to someone to be honest but like like oh like you’re actually pretty like does that mean that like you did thought I was ugly like I don’t understand or is it like oh you’re so pretty but like I don’t understand why that actually needs to be there then like it’s like a realization like wait you’re not hideous oh so you thought I was hideous it’s fine whatever think I’m hideous I don’t care but okay I need to stop I’m irritating myself I actually need to shut up I’m home alone so I’m bored I probably should not tell the internet when I’m home alone actually anyway um question is that like a backhanded compliment I feel like yes but then I think a lot of people saying like they mean no harm
