so I’m rehearsing with Spike one day and he says oh Elijah’s reading with Denzel on Monday I’m like what I’m like okay and I get a call and uh it’s Denzel and he’s like oh man I don’t think it’s GNA work out he said you know we tried but not sure if you know he’s you know quite you know ready for this and I said yo man you you calling from his phone so what’s going on here you trying to he said yeah yeah he said oh I should have called him my own phone he said yeah he got the part man so that’s how it went down you know he uh and he he my Elijah he did really beautiful stuff in this film I’m excited for him
