you can feel somebody from the Bronx from a mile away when you’re from the Bronx you know and I’m Dominican dominicano and she’s Puerto Rican so culturally we have very similar backgrounds so the chemistry wasn’t too hard to to search for we didn’t go too far for that um I’m also like I’m my best friend is my mom in my life you know so I’m very close to her and she is an incredible mother and she’s very close to her kids so the personal relationships we had we just brought that to the table as well um but yeah you know the thing about the people from the Bronx is we’re always talking about how we’re the Bronx so it was um very fun to immediately connect off that and she had heard about me from before and she knew of me in my work because I’m from the Bronx so I thought that was really cool and um as soon as we started working it it turned from like JLo the Superstar I’ve always known to Jen um a friend and a peer
