as the summer comes to an end I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can the surgery was successful however test after the operation found cancer had been present [Music] [Music] Princess Kate is recovering in the hospital this morning from abdominal surgery she was admitted to the hospital in early January and discharged 2 weeks later Kate’s recovering at home Prince Williams out and about in [Music] Wales Bening Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’s recovery we said we’d only be providing significant updates that guidance [Music] stands the palace put out a photograph of her and her three children but it looks like it’s been [Music] [Music] Photoshop has this morning apologized for what she’s called editing but if this photo was meant to calm the situation it’s done the opposite it’s all about trust and now if you get be putting out effectively are fake pictures pictures that are not real um that have been manipulated then how do you trust anything they say this is what’s going to be the problem going forward I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you personally for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I’ve been recovering from surgery in January I underwent major dominal surgery in London and at the time it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous the surgery was successful however test after the operation found cancer had been present my medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment we hope that you’ll understand that as a family we now need some time space and privacy while I complete my treatment
