we want this to be about the players who have earned this opportunity to be here and we want to celebrate them and yet you’re thinking about families that are never going to be able to forget what’s happened to them and what they saw and uh you know the pain of losing somebody that you love never goes away it’s not like something that all of a sudden you wake up the next day and and you feel better about so just our hearts are with them my heart is with all of them I can’t shake what it must feel like for them to be dealing with all of this and and yet it’s our job to celebrate football and and to bring the product that we always bring to the table on ESPN which will be great today and we have so many great stories in this game Gunner Stockton getting his first start ever in this environment on this stage he’s waited so long for that Notre Dame has so much to prove on this stage and we’ll celebrate that while also doing our best to just be sensitive to what’s happened here
