every day we receive threats from people calling saying I know you’re going to steal the election people calling or sending emails or voicemails or some cases even showing up on our homes uh to threaten us or to scare us that’s been an unfortunate reality of what we’ve had to go through swatting attempts in the like and I know it’s going to escalate in the weeks ahead I we recognize these threats aren’t really against us they’re against democracy they’re against this idea that we should trust and respect the will of the people and that’s what we sign up to defend every day I mean I can’t keep track of all the lawsuits the RNC and the letters they send us it’s very clear it’s part of a larger pattern of trying to sew seats of distrust in our elections and to make people lose trust in folks like myself and our local election officials
