it did affect me but the the president didn’t say those words the comedian an Entertainer days before George Lopez was making fun of Mexicans real bad jokes no one is digging into George Lopez from what I saw last night I mean first of all I couldn’t believe it that someone would say oh I am joking about something so serious and disrespectful calling our island or the island Puerto Rico the place garbage it’s just unacceptable now I wasn’t born in Puerto Rico I was raised in been born in New York but my ancestors do come from Puerto Rico and it’s still it’s very disrespectful with the island being devastated we lost nearly 2,000 Puerto Ricans at that time and there’s a deep wound and this latest attack on the island is just salt in that wound there’s over 1.2 million Puerto Ricans here also a huge number of us in Pennsylvania North Carolina Georgia we remember you know we’re going to get out to vote that’s the only thing we can do at this point
