so puka nikua is dealing with a sprained PCL it’s posterior cruciate ligament one of the four main stabilizing ligaments of your knee uh often injured when you bang your knee directly on the turf or you come into contact with something on the front and pushes your shin backwards relative to your thigh bone and that’s how you spraying your PCL and we saw pukan nakua go down on the turf with a couple of those mechanisms so certainly that could be the reason this happened prior to the season starting he had been bothered by what Sean McVey said was a burus saac injury now the burc also on the front of the knee was the same side we never heard about a PCL being any part of the issue so based on the reporting I believe this is a new injury as far as time missed it really depends on how long does it take for the knee to feel stable to scar down enough to where you’re not worried about contact could it bother him intermittently throughout the season it could we saw that with Zeke Elliot who had a similar injury it kind of bothered him intermittently throughout the year
