there are 19 races that have yet to be called which is incredible many of them in California where over the weekend they were still about 5 million votes away from finishing the job the math is stacked against Democrats Republicans only need to win five to maintain their majority Democrats need 15 to take the majority how are you looking at this now a week almost after the election yeah so it’s become increasingly clear that Republicans have a really C path to the majority and Democrats path has narrowed increasingly over the weekend Republicans picked up key wins in Colorado in Arizona and in the outstanding Races they are favored in the ones that they need to win the majority however it looks like Republicans will have a similarly sized narrow majority similar to what they had this past session currently they have a four- seat majority and it looks like if I had to guess they’ll probably have anywhere from three to five seats as a cushion and so it’s not going to be much different than this past session at all
