I think this band will really stifle uh creativity look not just in Australia but there have been young people around the world from the ages of 13 145 who’ve been able to explore their passions maybe make a career out of it um through social media in in some form or another um there’s plenty of people at six news who who have seen um who who have seen six news and then been able to join the team from there and explore their passion in media and in journalism you know it’s been my passion this entire time and it wouldn’t have been possible under a blanket band the government said there’s no Silver Bullet with this issue I would agree with that um but certainly I think we want better education I mean that both in two ways better education for young people not just a one-time seminar about all the evils of social media really teaching them how to safely navigate social media is key here
