What is a swing state in an election? 😇

okay so you’ve heard of a red and a blue state but what about a purple State also known as a swing state or a Battleground state so what exactly does that mean in a swing state voters are so closely divided politically that it’s nearly impossible to predict who will end up winning so really it’s anyone’s game campaigns will tend to put a lot of their time and attention on that handful of States instead of the ones that they are almost certain that they’ll win campaigns will increase candidate visits advertising and Staffing in those key Battleground States in order to win over voters and get them out to vote the focus on swing States ultimately means that the issues that are important to voters in those states end up becoming the most talked about throughout the campaign swing States haven’t always been the same handful of states for instance Missouri and Ohio were once considered swing States today they’re both considered red this year keep an eye on States like Arizona Georgia Nevada Wisconsin Michigan North Carolina and especially Pennsylvania they are likely to be the key places that could determine who the next president will be
