it’s been a dramatic evening in Israel with Iran launching nearly 200 missiles into the country this missile barrage set off air raid sirens across Israel and sent millions of people scrambling into bomb shelters the Israeli Army says that no one was injured but officials are warning that there will be repercussions and Israel is expected to strike back in some capacity now Israel’s been battling Iran’s allies over the past year most of that time it’s been fighting Hamas militants in Gaza in the past few weeks it has turned its attention to Hezbollah militants in Lebanon now it appears that Israel and Iran are moving closer towards some sort of direct confrontation in the meantime Israel has announced a limited ground operation in Lebanon it says this operation is contained to the Border area the idea is to take out hisbah weapons and other positions near the Israeli Border in hopes of creating the conditions that will allow displaced Israelis to move back to their homes near the Lebanese border
