play-rounded-fill

one more mystery of Stonehenge has been solved scientists now know for the first time where the stone in the very center of the monument came from Recently geologists mapped the precise geology of the Sandstone slab in the center of Stonehedge to rock formations at the very tip of Northeast Scotland a place called The Arcadian Basin archaeologists still aren’t sure how ancient people living almost 5,000 years ago managed to move a huge Stone almost 16 ft long from the tip of Scotland more than 450 M to Stonehenge in Southern England but they say it’s evidence that strong cultural and organizational connections existed between these two distant regions of ancient Britain but not all of ston henes stones came from the same place the most famous large slabs came from about 15 M away and other volcanic rocks from Western Wales for what reason that’s still a mystery
