White House won’t rule out broad preemptive pardons to protect allies 😘

is the president considering blanket pardons uh for either individuals or groups of people who are fearful of potentially being targeted by the incoming Trump Administration I’m just not going to I’m not going to get into uh get ahead of the president uh certainly the president is looking at uh uh you know reviewing next steps and there will be more to come look at where Zeke started about the idea of preemptive pardons he clearly didn’t rule that out you confirm that the white us is really considering that in your respons that’s not I that’s I not confirm in anything I’m just saying I’m not going to get ahead of the president on this issue there’s a process I’m I’m not you ring out the idea what I’m saying is I’m not getting ahead of the president I’m not there’s going to be he’s going to make make announcements on Pardons and commutations that is something every president historically presidents do especially at the end of their term and so that normally happens uh around the holiday
