last month Robert Salah said his quote instinct is to keep the 40-year-old Hall of Famer to be on the sidelines for the preseason today Salah decided to keep Rogers out of a joint practice with the commanders woke up this morning saw the weather uh he’s taking every reping practice and uh so I just felt like it it’s just unnecessary heightened environment unfamiliar foes in terms of taking care of one another I just didn’t want to expose him to it if it was a game if it was a practice if it was if it was clean outside he would have practiced today but call it over over protection but it’s just a decision I made he W to go but it’s just not it’s not in the grand scheme of things we’re trying to keep Forward Thinking With regards to week one and we got a long way for that you guys know me the third game is usually when um uh we we like to play our guys and depending on how today went how Saturday goes and then next week’s work with the uh Panthers and the following week with the Giants I I’ll make that decision
